Who determines what level of continuing care I need?
A: Our full-time team of doctors, nurse practitioners and social workers will complete an assessment to decide which level of care would most benefit you.

Do continuing care residents have to wake up, eat or go to bed at a certain time?
A: Absolutely not. The continuing care neighborhood at Linden Ponds is your home. You're free to structure your day however you see fit.

Is Linden Ponds a continuing care retirement community? What does that mean?
A: Yes, Linden Ponds is a continuing care retirement community, or CCRC for short. This means we offer independent living, plus a variety of care options all in one place, including memory care, long-term care, respite care and short-term rehab. You don't have to be a current resident of Linden Ponds to take advantage of our on-site continuing care services.

Is there a difference between continuing care and independent living?
A: Yes. With independent living, you'll continue to enjoy the active life you're used to in your private Linden Ponds apartment. At our continuing care neighborhood, you'll receive a higher level of care, including memory care, respite care, long-term care and short-term rehab.

How much does continuing care cost?
A: All continuing care residents pay a one-time Refundable Entrance Deposit*. After that, pricing is structured according to the level of care required. Some services such as rehab are covered by Medicare. For specific costs, see our pricing page.

Will I have to share a room?
A: No. All continuing care residences at Linden Ponds are private. See our continuing care floor plans.

How do your doctors compare to other Boston-area providers?
A: While many other care centers employ only part-time or visiting professionals, our medical staff is here full-time. They focus solely on the 65-plus population, so you or your loved one gets expert, targeted care.
Our team includes:
- Board-certified physicians who average 19 years working with seniors.
- Nurse practitioners with an average 4 years experience.
- Nurse clinical specialists in mental health with an average 13 years experience.
- Highly-trained physical, speech and occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers and more.

A: Yes. Linden Ponds is approved by Medicare.

Do you accept Medicaid?
A: Typically people who require Medicaid have exhausted their funds and will not have the entrance deposit necessary to move here.

Can continuing care residents take advantage of the larger Linden Ponds campus?
A: Of course! Residents can take full advantage of everything Linden Ponds has to offer, including the swimming pool, restaurants, clubs and activities, transportation, day trips, walking paths and more.

Are visitors welcome? Do I need to call ahead?
A: You are free to have guests 24-7. There is no need to call ahead. Visiting is entirely unrestricted.
