Celebrating our differencesDiversity encompasses everything that makes us who we are, from our age, gender, race, and sexual orientation to our religion, education, and physical abilities. Celebrating these differences has always been an important part of the Erickson culture. It enriches our communities and helps foster a more caring and compassionate place to work and live. A diverse workforceWe conscientiously strive to keep our staff diverse at all levels of the organization. Nearly half of our employees are non-Caucasian, and 61% are women. We’re excited about our progress and look forward to creating an even more diverse organization in the years to come. Community and resident-run programsOur communities are enthusiastically embracing and celebrating the diversity of their staff in fun and interesting ways, from interfaith holiday celebrations and Black History Month programs to community forums and college-level courses that explore various ethnicities and religions. Corporate partnerships that promote diversity and inclusionErickson has partnered with and donated to organizations that share its dedication to diversity and education, including the Gloucester Institute, the United Negro College Fund, and Baltimore’s African American Heritage Festival. |
