John Erickson had a vision, one in which he saw this silent place transformed into a vibrant, bustling community, full of people experiencing a more fulfilling retirement than they had ever imagined.

More than 2,000 people live there today, in the remarkable community of Charlestown. They were only the beginning of an amazing story, one in which the values and vision of the Erickson family changed the way people age in this country, and have more than 21,000 residents in our communities to prove it.
