Ann’s Choice Awards More Than $400,000 in Scholarships to Local High School Students

On June 6, Ann Choice Retirement Community hosted family, friends, residents, and staff at its annual Scholar Awards Ceremony. At the event, 46 graduating high school seniors were awarded $8,000 scholarships from the community to support their pursuit of higher education. Also, nine students received donor-designated named scholarships totaling $36,500.

On April 27, Ann’s Choice, a senior living community in Southeastern Pennsylvania, developed and managed by Erickson Living, held a ceremonial groundbreaking for the construction of Chestnut Pointe, a $19 million, two-story, 50,000 square-foot assisted living building on campus.

Warminster, PA – Two green thumbed residents at Ann’s Choice retirement community have utilized their talents to give back to the community. Ruth Kurtz and Betty Sykes cultivate gardens at Ann’s Choice specifically to donate the yield to the local Warminster Food Bank.

Ann’s Choice Moving Forward with Expansion of Assisted Living Facility

Warminster, Pa. – Ann’s Choice retirement community, developed and managed by Erickson Living, is moving ahead with plans to expand and renovate its continuing care neighborhood, Rose Gardens.

Warminster, Pa. — On Tuesday, June 7, Ann’s Choice retirement community hosted family, residents, friends and staff at their annual Scholars’ Awards Ceremony. At this year’s event, 34 graduating high school seniors and three adult employees were recognized as 2016 recipients of a $6,000 scholarship from Ann’s Choice residents.

In 11 years, close to $3 million has been raised to support 458 students to advance their collegiate careers, according to Becky Nixon, philanthropy coordinator at Ann’s Choice. The program is funded primarily through resident contributions.

Protestant Group at Ann’s Choice Donates $19,000 to Local Charities

Warminster, PA - In an effort to support the local community, the Protestant group at Ann’s Choice retirement community embodied the spirit of giving by donating $19,000 to 14 local charities and the Benevolent Care Fund at Ann’s Choice.

The Protestant community is composed of 500 Ann’s Choice residents and operated by their own Protestant Faith Council. The council runs the Protestant group with the mission of creating a better world; its approach is to start locally in Bucks County.
