WARMINSTER, PA - This Monday, April 21st at 1:30 p.m., U.S. Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick will visit with a group of seniors from the Ann's Choice retirement community who handcraft stockings for U.S. soldiers who have had limbs amputated due to injuries sustained in battle.

The group, who call themselves the "Knit Wits" will be presented with an official acknowledgment by the congressman who will soon commend the ladies for their dedicated work in the Congressional Record on the floor of the United States House of Representatives. WARMINSTER, PA - Continuing Care at Ann's Choice received 5-Star Rating from U.S. News & World Report for 2014 and voted a "Best Nursing Home" in the United States by the publication. Ann's Choice has received the 5-Star rating for two years in a row. Each year the state of Pennsylvania inspects nursing facilities and rates them based on various categories which are reported federally to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Ann's Choice Community Collects Warm Coats For Needy

WARMINSTER, PA - The Ann's Choice community collected over 300 warm coats during a one-day coat drive to benefit the United Way of Bucks County on Monday.

This is the first year Ann's Choice began this collection in conjunction with the United Way, however, the retirement community has a long-standing tradition of work the benevolent non-profit organization. More Than $285,000 Raised For Ann's Choice Scholars Fund Rewarding Close To 200 Area Students

WARMINSTER, PA - With the school year finished, Ann's Choice held a graduation ceremony to honor 180 area high school students who work at the continuing care retirement community.  These students will benefit from the Ann's Choice Scholars' Fund, which provides money for their upcoming college or secondary school education. During the ceremony, each student received a scholarship totaling $1,000; $500 per semester for four years of full-time undergraduate study.  Funding for the scholarships is based upon voluntary donations made by residents and staff.  The scholarship funding is paid directly to the students' respective secondary education institution each semester.
