Ann's Choice Residents Collect Over One Ton of Food to Help Feed Bucks County's Hungry

July 29, 2014

WARMINSTER, PA - Over the past week Ann's Choice residents and staff have collected non-perishable food products which were today taken to the Bucks County Housing Group. The organization will now in turn use that food to help feed hungry families from Bucks County.

More than one ton of food was delivered for this, the seventh year of the partnership between Ann's Choice and the non-profit organization.
The Bucks County Housing Group is a private, non-profit social service organization which provides a wide range of housing and related social services to homeless and low-income families.
Ann's Choice Executive Director Chris Donati said, "This annual project is a great example of the wonderful volunteer spirit here at our community. The area that we live in has a strong heart for the needy, including the hungry, and I think that residents and staff alike are passionate about helping wherever and whenever they can. This donation helps a very worthwhile organization fulfill a need that assists those in the county who are struggling."
"It is during the holidays that people usually tend to think about those in need a little bit more," said Ann's Choice Philanthropy Director Susan Abtouche. "However, our community prides itself on helping our friends and neighbors throughout the entire year, and this is only one example of all that they do."
