Fox Run Dog Parade Set for Saturday, September 24

IT WILL BE A DOG'S WORLD AT FOX RUN WHEN RESIDENTS AND THIER PETS STROLL THE DOG PARADE RUNWAY SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 Pugs, Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, Yorkshire Terriers, Dachshunds, and Pomeranians to be Featured WHAT: A Dog Parade at Fox Run retirement community in Novi, MI,  in which residents and their pets will stroll the runway to "put on the dog," so-to speak.  Nearly 50 dogs - among them pugs, cocker spaniels, poodles, Yorkshire terriers, dachshunds, and Pomeranians - will be featured. The dogs -- If they  know any tricks --  will showcase them.  Residents will receive a participation pins and the dogs will receive Fox Run bandanas. Awards will be given for: n  Cutest Wag n  Best Smile n  Loudest Bark n  Most Likely to Chew the Furniture. Each dog and owner will be announced and will walk through the runway of spectators near a new Dog Patch that was opened this past summer on Fox Run's 108-acre campus. Also several staff members and families of residents bringing their dogs to participate in the Dog Parade. WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, September 24, from 11 a.m. - Noon, near the Fox Run Dog Patch in front of the Belmont Clubhouse. Fox Run is located at 41000 Thirteen Mile Road, Novi, MI, 48377.
