Brooksby Village Names Winners of the 2012 Employee Awards

 Peabody, MA - Brooksby Village announced the Winners of the 2012 Employee Awards. There were five awards presented at the Brooksby Village Employee Party.  "The party was originally scheduled back in February during the weekend of the Blizzard so we have been very anxious to announce the winners this year," said Mary Naughton, Director of Human Resources, Brooksby Village.  "With over 930 employees here at Brooksby Village, to be nominated as a finalist for one of these awards is truly remarkable"  Employee of the Year Winner - Tami Howard, Peabody, Unit Secretary   Commitment to Excellence Award Winner - Alison Fialho, Swampscott, Assistant Rehab Manager   Manager of the Year Winner - Chris DeThomas, Melrose, Community TV & AV Manager   Mission Moment of the Year Winner - Jan Gurley, Beverly, Chaplain Continuing Care   Students of the Year Co-Winners - Samantha White, Peabody, and Ryan Pickard, Peabody, Service Coaches   Brooksby Village has three large clubhouses featuring an on-site medical center, staffed by full-time doctors, five restaurants, two convenience stores, two beauty parlors, a TV studio, a swimming pool, activity rooms, classrooms, game rooms and even two branches of a bank.  Residents also have the opportunity to take part in hundreds of different clubs and activities.  The community, home to more than 1900 people, also has its own Interfaith Chapel on campus that serves as the physical foundation for a strong faith-based community.
