Tallgrass Creek Marks Record Occupancy in 2013

OVERLAND PARK, KS (January 29, 2014) - Tallgrass Creek retirement community marked record occupancy in 2013 with 98.8 percent billed occupancy attained, an increase of 6.1 percent over the prior year. In addition, a total of 164 people were members of the Priority List in 2013, an increase of 43 percent over the prior year. People moved to Tallgrass Creek from Kansas and Missouri, with some moving from as far away as Arizona, Florida, Georgia, California, and Iowa. A total of 317 people now live at Tallgrass Creek. Refundable entrance deposits at Tallgrass Creek range from $149,000 - $488,000. Monthly fees range from $1,550 -$2,740. Tallgrass Creek will open memory care and post-acute rehab units in Blue Sage Pointe, its new continuing care neighborhood, in March of this year. Assisted living opened in mid-November 2013. The continuing care neighborhood has a total of 104 units.
