Wind Crest Starts Construction of Two Additional Residence Buildings

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (April 14, 2014) - Wind Crest retirement today began construction of two additional residence buildings  on its 84-acre campus. This $30 million expansion will include an additional 105 apartment homes, a library, a second fitness center, a 240-seat auditorium, a banquet room, and two additional restaurants.  Apartments will range in size from one bedrooms starting at 800 square feet, to the largest luxury apartments at 2,000 square feet.  The architect is JHP, which is  based in Dallas, Texas. The general contractor is Brinkmann Constructors, Inc. Wind Crest will be accepting reservations this summer and both residence buildings are scheduled to open in early summer 2015. The decision to move forward with construction of the two additional residence buildings is based on the strong interest in the new 102-apartment home McHenry's Crossing residence building also now under construction. Wind Crest started selling McHenry's Crossing in October 2013, and in the first five months 80 percent of the apartment homes were reserved by people on the Wind Crest waiting list.  Wind Crest is now taking reservations from the public.
