MEDIA ADVISORY: Seabrook Seniors Who Continually Make a Difference in the Lives of County's Needy to be Honored for their Commitment Tuesday, October 21, But shhhhhhh, it's a Surprise to them!

TINTON FALLS, NJ - In their continuing effort to help some of Monmouth County's needy families, approximately one dozen residents formed a partnership with the county non-profit Bridges at the Shore several years ago. Since that time, this group of exceptional ladies have made hundreds upon hundreds of sandwiches and lunches, collected tons of school supplies and toiletries and been there as a presence.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 21 at 10:30 a.m., most of these residents will be given a surprise honor for their benevolent work as they each receive a New Jersey State Joint Senate/Assembly Resolution which will be given to them by New Jersey State Assemblywoman Caroline Casagrande.

The resolution will be a surprise to these ladies at the monthly Seabrook Resident Town Hall Meeting.

Since the residents, who call themselves Seabrook for Bridges, began aiding Bridges at the Shore three years ago, more than 1,000 sandwiches have been made, many school supplies collected and tons of toiletries gathered for struggling families. This past August, a YouTube video was created (see here: http://tiny.cc/5d5mkx) illustrating their commitment in creating sandwiches.

The resolution and Town Hall Meeting will take place at the Town Square Auditorium located inside Seabrook's Town Square Clubhouse. Seabrook is located at 3000 Essex Rd., Tinton Falls, NJ 07753.
