Georgette Ngembus Named Greenspring’s Director of Nursing

(Springfield, Va.) – Georgette Ngembus has recently been named the new Director of Nursing at Greenspring, an Erickson Living retirement community in Springfield, Va.

Ngembus has worked at Greenspring for more than 11 years.  Since August 2010, she has served as the Assistant Director of Nursing at the community and more recently assumed the role of Interim Director of Nursing.  During her tenure at Greenspring, she has played an important role in helping the community’s Continuing Care neighborhood achieve a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the agency’s highest score possible, as well as aiding in Greenspring’s recognition as one of U.S. News & World Report’s top nursing communities.

Ngembus received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from George Mason University.  She has also received certification in CPR Train the Trainer and is a certified Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT).  She officially began her new role on December 22, 2014.
