Wind Crest's Yearend 2014 Occupancy is 9 Percent Above National Industry Average

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (December 18, 2014) -- Wind Crest retirement community’s occupancy at yearend 2014 is 9 percent above the national industry average. In addition, 230 households are now the Priority List for future move-ins.

People this year moved to Wind Crest from Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Centennial, Englewood, Castle Rock and from other states including California, Arizona, Wisconsin and Florida. Wind Crest currently has nearly 1,000 residents.

Wind Crest is in the midst of expansion that includes three new residence buildings:

The first new residence building, McHenry’s Crossing with 102-apartment homes, opened this month. A second new residence building, the 74-apartment home Parry Landing, will open in spring 2015 along with an additional club house in the early Fall.

This expansion follows last year’s opening of a 144-apartment Continuing Care neighborhood at Wind Crest. Continuing Care offers assisted living, memory care, long-term nursing care, and short-term rehab. It brings a new Erickson Living Person-Centered Care approach that is said to be unique to the Denver market.

Refundable entrance deposits at Wind Crest range from $184,000-$655,000. Monthly fees range from $1,902-$3,154.
