Celebrating an Annual Tradition at The Honda Classic

Devonshire at PGA National resident Polly Sherk attends the golf tournament each year with members of her family

(Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) – Each spring, The Honda Classic golf tournament returns to the Champion course at PGA National Resort & Spa.  This year, according to the Palm Beach Post, more than 160,000 people descended onto the grounds of PGA National to watch the tournament, which came to a close on March 2.  Among those golf fans were Devonshire at PGA National resident Polly Sherk and ten of her visiting family members.  She noted that the convenience of the tournament to her home at Devonshire allows her to attend the event every year along with some of her family.

“We have a great time; we can just walk across the street and we are on the Champion course,” said Sherk.  “The course is beautiful and the ‘front row seats’ are wonderful!”

Throughout the year, residents at Devonshire make regular golf outings to nearby PGA National, which features a total of five championship courses.  A putting green is also located conveniently on the grounds of Devonshire for those residents who want to hone their short game!
