Greenspring to Host Annual Earth Day Celebration on April 16
This year, the event will feature WUSA9 Meteorologist Erica Grow

WHAT:  Each year, residents of Greenspring retirement community in Springfield, Va. host an Earth Day celebration highlighting green-friendly activities and initiatives at the community, as well as hosting organizations such as The Nature Conservancy, the National Wildlife Federation, and the Sierra Club.  This year, an early Earth Day celebration will take place on April 16 (in advance of Earth Day on April 22).  A special guest this year will be WUSA9 Meteorologist Erica Grow, who will share her take on climate change and unique D.C. area weather patterns.
