Wind Crest Marks 1,000th-Resident Milestone

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (May 15, 2015) – Wind Crest this week marked its 1,000th-resident milestone when George Meares, formerly of Sedalia, CO, moved into the retirement community. Meares, whio is retired from Colorado Department of Transportation, moved into a large one-bedroom apartment home in Parry Landing, a new residence building that opened May 1.

The attainment of the 1,000th - resident milestone by Wind Crest means it is able to able to provide more services and amenities that appeal to what people want,  said Senior Director of Sales Jason Atwell.

Wind Crest is in the midst of a $60 million expansion that is adding three new residential buildings to its campus. This month’s opening of the 74-unit Parry Landing followed last December’s opening of the 102-unit McHenry's Crossing.

Another building, High Line Overlook, is scheduled to open in the fall and will include an Arts Enrichment Center.  Wind Crest also has six restaurants as well as a fitness center, aquatics center, and a Bistro.

“People are finding ways to be engaged in the interests and activities that they really enjoy at Wind Crest,” said Atwell. “ The housing market is robust and, as one of the fastest growing senior populations in the nation, Denver is a place where so many are researching their options.

"Our beautiful Highlands Ranch locale amid the Rocky Mountains is especially appealing,” he said.
