Brooksby Village Celebrates 15th Anniversary

Peabody, MA -- Fifteen years ago, Brooksby Village opened its doors for the first time.  This month, people who live and work at Brooksby Village celebrated the 15th Anniversary of the Continuing Care Retirement Community with a number of events.

“This is an exciting time for everyone here at Brooksby Village,” said Helen Lanagan, Executive Director, Brooksby Village.  “Our committee worked very hard to make all of the events happen including a special lunch for all the residents who have been with us from the very beginning.”

Events included a 15th Anniversary Outdoor Concert, a Celebration, a Bench Dedication Ceremony, the annual Dog Derby and an Interfaith Sunrise Service.

Over the past 15 years, Brooksby Village has worked with many outside organizations including:

“Not only do we have great relationships with many outside organizations, we also work closely with Mayor Bettencourt, who attended our 15th Anniversary Celebration, State Representative Cole, Congressman Moulton, Senator Lovely and many others,” said Lanagan.  “We look forward to working with more organizations in the future.”
