Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring to Join Greenspring for Flag Day Commemoration

What:  Greenspring retirement community’s resident Democratic Club will host a commemorative Flag Day celebration, “Salute to the Flag,” on Sunday, June 14 in honor of the holiday.  Virginia’s Attorney General, Mark Herring, will join the group as the event’s keynote speaker.  A flag once flown over the Capitol in Washington, D.C. will be presented to Greenspring by Vietnam veteran and resident BGen. Bill Weise, USMC (Ret.).  A presentation of the colors will be given by Greenspring’s own American Legion Post 123 and residents and resident groups will perform including the Greenspring Chorister’s choral group and the “Greenspring Troubadour,” resident Col. Gray Parks, U.S. Army (Ret.)
