Hundreds Attend Brooksby Village Gala Celebrating Frank Sinatra and Raise $75,000 for Resident Care Fund

Peabody, MA – Hundreds of people who live at Brooksby Village attended the annual Brooksby Village Gala celebrating  the 100th birthday of Frank Sinatra.  More than $75,000 was raised for the Resident Care Fund.

“The Gala is the biggest event of the year and looks forward to this event,” said Kim Whitworth,  Philanthropy Manager, Brooksby Village.  “This year would have been Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday so the evening was themed after Frank. From an impersonator, to Frank Sinatra signature drinks and the attire, the evening was dedicated to Frank Sinatra.”

Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Resident Care Fund which is a Fund set up to provide support to residents who, despite careful planning, outlive their financial resources. This Fund enables residents to remain at Brooksby Village, knowing they will always receive the care they deserve.

“Each year the Gala brings together both people who live and work at Brooksby Village with our supporting vendors and local community members,” said Whitworth.  ““The evening featured a sit-down dinner created by our own Executive Chefs, a pre-dinner band and this year someone who performed Frank Sinatra's songs.”
