Brooksby Village Dining Services Employee Brings Home the Gold

Peabody, MA -- Kim Bolduc, Brooksby Village’s Catering & Events Coordinator, and the winter color guard she has taught for 6 years, St. Ann’s from Neponset, MA, competed at the 2015 Winter Guard International World Championships in Dayton, Ohio. After 3 strong performances, St. Ann’s was crowned the 2015 Independent A Class Gold Medalist.

“We competed in the Independent A Class (one of  the youngest of 6 competing classes) and we had to make it through 3 rounds of competition,” said Bolduc of Danvers, MA.  We started with almost 80 groups competing in our class and ended with only the top 15 competing in the finals.  We were beyond thrilled to be crowned the champs!”

Bolduc and the St. Ann’s  Color Guard were invited to the Massachusetts State House to receive special recognition for their accomplishment.

Bolduc has been working with St. Ann’s for 6 years. She is on the design team/instructional staff and serves as a primary choreographer, writing dance, rifle, sabre, and flag choreography for the group’s nearly 5-minute show.
