Residents Donate $119,000 to Staff Appreciation Fund at Ashby Ponds

This year, residents at Ashby Ponds have raised $119,000 for the community's Staff Appreciation Fund.  The annual campaign is organized each year as a way for the residents to say "thank you" to the non-management hourly employees at the community.

At Ashby Ponds, eligible employees may include the community's wait staff, security officers, communication and administrative staff, banquet servers, maintenance workers, culinary team, housekeepers, and the special projects crew, totaling 184 staff members.

"Ashby Ponds employees are told often what a difference they make in the lives our residents," said Nicole Johnson, Director of Human Resources at Ashby Ponds.  "The Staff Appreciation campaign is a unique opportunity for our residents to give a gift to the employees who mean so much during a season of thanksgiving and sharing. It's a wonderful celebration all around."
This year, 84% of all residents at the community participated in the campaign.   On Tuesday, December 10, Ashby Ponds hosted a Staff Appreciation Fund celebration where residents were able to express their gratitude toward employees and help to distribute donated funds to each eligible employee.
