Executive Team Information

Meet the individuals who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of Brooksby Village.

Tracie Bettano, Executive Director

Tracie has over 20 years of health care experience in the clinical, rehabilitation, and management areas. She holds a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Early in her career, she worked as a speech-language pathologist in acute care teaching hospitals on the east coast before moving her focus to senior care and leadership roles. In addition to her clinical degree, she is a licensed nursing home administrator. Tracie joined the Brooksby team in 2004 with the opening of the continuing care neighborhood. Prior to her current role, she held many community and corporate positions, including rehabilitation and wellness manager, director of rehabilitation operations, and director of continuing care.

Justin Paradis, Associate Executive Director

Justin began his career with the Erickson Living enterprise in 2006 as a physical therapist at Brooksby Village. In March of 2008, he became rehabilitation manager at Linden Ponds in Hingham, serving as the key player during the launch of the outpatient rehabilitation clinic and continuing care facility. After completing the administrator in training program, Justin assumed the role of assistant administrator of continuing care in January 2013. In October of 2013 he was promoted to director of continuing care. In 2014, Justin returned to Brooksby Village, where he served as the director of continuing care until July 2017. Prior to joining Erickson Living, Justin worked as a physical therapist at Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem, MA. He received a bachelor of science in exercise science and a minor in history at the University of Massachusetts in 2003. Later, he attended MGH Institution of Health Professions in Boston and earned a doctorate of physical therapy.

Melanie Bernardin, Director of Resident Life

Melanie Bernardin first joined the Brooksby Village team in 2007 as a senior social work manager. Previously, she worked in various hospitals and outpatient medical settings. She holds a B.A. degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and a master of social work degree from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. Married with two children, Melanie currently lives in Andover.

Charleen Archambault, Director of Dining Services

Charleen was hired as the assistant director of dining services in 2004 and was promoted to director of dining services in 2008. She was formerly the purchasing manager for a food diagnostic biotechnology company. Charleen is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with an M.S. in organizational leadership. She also holds an A.A.S. in dietetic technology from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute and a B.A. in english from Salem State University. Charleen has over 20 years in the food industry and is a member of the Nutrition Advisory Board at North Shore Community College. She has one son and resides in Westford, Massachusetts.

Sue Davis, Director of Sales

Sue joined the Brooksby team in August of 2008 as the health care counselor. She held that position until August of 2011 when she was promoted to the director of sales at Brooksby Village. In her 15-year career in the senior living industry she has held the position of sdrector of sales for Marriott Senior Living, Sunrise Senior Living, and Brookdale Senior Living. She attended the University of Maine and received her gerontology degree from North Shore Community College in 1997. She has four children and two grandchildren and currently resides with her husband in Boxford, Massachusetts.


Mary Naughton, Director of Human Resources

Mary joined the Brooksby team back in 2002 as the human resources manager. Mary was then promoted to a senior human resources manager in 2003 and was promoted to the director of human resources in 2005. She has over 20 years’ experience in the human resources field. Mary graduated from Stonehill College with her bachelor’s degree in education. While attending Stonehill College, Mary was an NCAA All-American in women’s basketball. Mary has also been inducted into five different basketball halls of fame across New England.

Michael Francis, Director of Finance

Mike joined Brooksby Village in November 2004. After graduating from Boston College, Mike spent 18 years in the hotel industry, including 14 years with Marriott International. Mike’s Marriott career included controller positions at the Hanover Marriott in New Jersey, the Burlington Marriott in Massachusetts, and the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. After a year as CFO of a seafood importing company in Boston, Mike joined Brooksby as director of dinance. Mike and his wife Sally live in Andover with their two beautiful girls.

Linda Cronin, Director of Nurses/Continuing Care

Linda Cronin joined Brooksby Village in October 2005. She began her career at the community as the quality assurance nurse for both skilled nursing and assisted living. In December of 2007, Linda assumed the position of director of nurses. Prior to working for Erickson Living, Linda held various positions for Healthbridge Long-Term Care facilities, including staff development coordinator, employee health/safety first coordinator, assistant director of nurses, and traveling director of nurses. Linda had a short-lived career as legal secretary after graduating from the business management secretarial program at the Boston Business School. Linda is currently a registered nurse. She graduated from Lawrence Memorial Hospital/Regis College. Linda and her husband live in Winthrop, Massachusetts.

Stan Yeakel, Director of General Services

Stan joined the Erickson Living operations team at Brooksby in 2011. Prior to that, he was with a development group from 1993 to 2009 working at Henry Ford Village, Brooksby Village, and Linden Ponds, as well as acquisitions at potential sites in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Jersey. He received a Construction Supervisor License in 2012. Stan graduated with a degree in geology from Wittenberg University in Ohio. He and his wife have three children, two in Boxford, Massachusetts, and one in Kailua, Hawaii.
