 Joan Pappalardo has been Collecting Holiday Villages for 15 Years  Peabody, MA -- Joan Pappalardo has been creating Dept. 56, North Pole Villages for about 15 years. Some pieces were purchased, and some were gifts, but each year her village grew a little larger. Brooksby Village Employees Complete Leadership Academy with the Massachusetts Restaurant Association

Peabody, MA - Amanda Parker of Lynn, Carla Pujols of Salem, and Stefanie Rogers of Peabody, employees at Brooksby Village in Peabody, completed the yearlong Leadership Academy with the Massachusetts Restaurant Association.  All three attended their graduation ceremony at the Top of the Hub in the Prudential Building in Boston. 

 The Leadership Academy is a 36 week program focused on instruction in the areas of Hospitality and Restaurant Management, Managerial Accounting, Controlling Food Service Costs, Servsafe Food Certification and Customer Service.  The goal is to develop young talent into future management level positions and to...

    The Annual Turkey Trot will take Place On Friday, November 16 at 11am

Peabody, MA - Hundreds of people who live and work at Brooksby Village and one large turkey will participate in the annual Turkey Trot at Brooksby Village on Friday, November 16 at 11am.

Over the last few weeks, people donated canned goods and other food donations and both will be presented to Haven From Hunger before the walk at 11am.  Then walkers will walk a mile around the campus.

Peabody, MA -- A number of pet owners who live and work at Brooksby Village will participate in the Annual Interfaith Blessing of the Pets on Thursday, October 4 at 10am in the Chapel. 

 "We are expecting many pets and their owners," said Rich Byrne, Pastoral Ministries Manager, Brooksby Village.  "People bring dogs, cats, and photos of deceased pets, some pictures dating into the 1940s.  Each year it is a warm and memorable sharing of our love for our special friends."

 PEABODY, MA - More than 250 people who live and work at Brooksby Village attended the 12th Annual Brooksby Village Charity Gala  at Brooksby Village.

Peabody, MA - A variety of artwork, jewelry, photography and much more were on display and for sale at Brooksby Village's Art Show and Silent Auction to benefit the Brooksby Village Benevolent Care Fund.   Everything for sale was created by or donated by both people who live and work at Brooksby Village.  There was also live music and refreshments as well as a cash bar.
