Peabody, MA – More than 250 residents at Brooksby Village, an Erickson Living community in Peabody, MA, attended the 19th Annual Brooksby Village Gala. This year the event was titled, What a Wonderful World.
"Our 19th annual Charity Gala was once again a huge success and a wonderful night," said Elizabeth Macomber, Philanthropy Manager, Brooksby Village. "Each year the Gala brings together both people who live and work at Brooksby Village with our supporting vendors and local community members. The evening includes a cocktail reception, dinner and entertainment. Everyone looks forward to this event every year."
Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner, dessert and entertainment provided by Entertainment by the Jersey Tenors.
"The Gala Planning Committee is made up of residents and staff who beginning working and planning on this event in the Spring," said Macomber. "We are grateful to everyone at Brooksby Village for all that they do to make this annual event a memorable evening," said Macomber.
Proceeds from the Brooksby Village Gala benefit the Resident Care Fund which is a fund set up to provide support to residents who, despite careful planning, outlive their financial resources. This fund enables residents to remain at Brooksby Village, knowing they will always receive the care they deserve.
