Brooksby Village Vaccinates More than 96% of Residents Against COVID-19

Brooksby Village, a senior living community managed by Erickson Senior Living in Peabody, MA, today announced that it has completed its COVID-19 vaccination clinics with 96 percent of its residents receiving both doses.

“Since the onset of the pandemic more than 12 months ago, our team has worked diligently with residents, their families and local health officials to help safeguard the well-being of everyone who calls Brooksby Village home,” said Tracie Bettano, executive director of Brooksby Village. “I'm proud of the exceptional results we have achieved by working together – and I'm thrilled that so many of our residents now have an additional level of protection against COVID-19. We could not have reached this important landmark without the professionalism of our partners at CVS, the unwavering commitment of our staff and the resilience of our residents.”

Every resident who wanted a vaccine at Brooksby Village has now received both doses, and look forward to safely enjoying the abundant on-campus amenities, dining experiences, and friendships that are hallmarks of Brooksby Village's active, vibrant lifestyle. Residents, staff and visitors continue to take precautionary measures, including wearing masks, maintaining social distance and frequent hand-washing, to keep each other safe and well-protected.

Residents have expressed gratitude for the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 conveniently on campus.

I got the shots because I care about my neighbors and want to see more of them,” said Margaret Raymond, a Brooksby Village resident. “Now that the vaccine is here, I am confident and optimistic about the future. I'm grateful to Brooksby Village for bringing it right to us. They made it easy, and now I can't wait to travel and see my family!”

Brooksby Village is one of 20 senior living communities managed by Erickson Senior Living. To date, more than 24,500 residents at these communities have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
