POMPTON PLAINS, NJ - In an effort to help fellow New Jersey residents effected by devastating Superstorm Sandy, residents from the Cedar Crest retirement community will hold a special benefit concert to raise money for victims beginning at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Monday, November 12th at Cedar Crest's Performing Arts Center.
Cedar Crest resident Bert Stromholm will play the accordion and will be accompanied by Brent and Crista Buswell, an accordionist and pianist respectively, from Vermont. Both Mr. and Mrs. Buswell are blind and travel throughout the area sharing their special music.
Residents are being asked to make a free will offering to the Salvation Army NJ Disaster Relief Fund. One hundred-percent of the money donated goes directly to the relief of the victims of this specific disaster.
