CATONSVILLE, MD (November 22, 2016) -- Charlestown retirement community residents and staff today woke up at "the crack of dawn" to exercise in their 45-munite cycle class. It was their way of giving thanks for their shared health and wellness this holiday season.
Fitness Manager Teresa Reymann-Curran led the 12 participants through a series of jumps, hills, flat roads, and sprints to a variety of holiday music, from the 50's to the top entertainers of today.
Many calories were burned in preparation for Thanksgiving.
"There was a feeling of warmth and joy in the air as everyone gave thanks while cycling with their family at Charlestown," said Reymann-Curran.
Charlestown's Fitness Center holds cycle and weight training classes for residents and staff five days a week.
