Snoopy and Woodstock's Haunted House Earns Top Honors in Charlestown Pumpkin Decorating Contest

November 2, 2012

CATONSVILLE, MD---It turns out that the Great Pumpkin wasn't the only orange creation to come out of the Peanuts series for Halloween.
The Dining Team of the Fireside Restaurant at Charlestown retirement community displayed their pumpkin-carving creativity with Snoopy and Woodstock: A Haunted House.
It was the winning entry in the Annual Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Contest.  Ten departments entered the competition coordinated by the Charlestown Erickson Living Values Team.
Two members of Fireside led the way in sharing their artistic talents.  Aaron Tolbert, a restaurant associate, "carved" Snoopy, and Patrick Daniels, restaurant server, painted the display.
Judging was performed by residents and employees of the Erickson Living community.
