During the pandemic, employees have been serving our residents—and each other—like never before. Important Communications

COVID-19 symptoms can range from mild cold-like symptoms, like chills, sore throat, sniffles, sneezing, and body aches, to more severe flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. If you experience any symptoms, do not come to work, and call the Employee Hotline immediately at 410-402-9572. It’s important to also talk with your primary care physician, who can help you understand the difference between COVID-19, the flu, the common cold, allergies, and other illnesses, as well as recommend the best course of action.
The COVID-19 All Employee Newsletter was developed to help keep community and corporate employees updated on recent developments, new business practices, and important resources and information related to Erickson Living’s response to COVID-19. It is delivered to the inbox of all employees on Fridays, printed and shared with employees who may not have easy access to email, and available for download below.


While all employees play important roles in supporting residents and employees, certain positions have a direct impact on the well-being of independent living and continuing care residents and are considered essential during this critical time. If you are not sure whether your position is considered “essential,” please contact your supervisor for clarification. All community employees are considered essential.

    Employees who are enrolled in an Erickson Living health insurance plan are eligible to participate in MDLIVE’s telehealth program for FREE. In addition to COVID-19 concerns, continue practicing social distancing and use MDLIVE to address nonemergency health concerns.     All Erickson Living employees 18+ have access to HealthAdvocate, a national health advocacy, patient advocacy, and assistance company. If emotional support is needed for you or a family member, talk to a licensed counselor anytime day or night. We continue to take every precaution to protect both residents and staff members from COVID-19. This includes screening everyone who enters the community for symptoms.
