Meet Devonshire's Executive Team

Jim Wingardner, Executive Director

Jim Wingardner brings nearly 20 years of senior living managerial acumen to the community. His career history reflects the diverse hospitality management experience he gained while working for a hotel management and development company in Florida.

In 2006, Jim joined Erickson Living’s Linden Ponds community in Hingham, Massachusetts, as associate executive director. Later that year, he became the executive director at Brooksby Village, Linden Ponds’ sister community located in Peabody, Massachusetts. In 2013, Jim made the transition back to Linden Ponds to serve as executive director. Prior to his experience with Erickson Living, Jim served as the executive director of Lasell Village in Newton, Massachusetts, and as director of operations at Fox Hill Village in Westwood, Massachusetts.

Jim earned a master of science degree in elder care management from Lasell College and an undergraduate degree from Southern New Hampshire University in hotel and restaurant management.


Marty Bores, Director of Resident Services

Marty Bores has a background in the high-end hospitality industry, having worked at the Hudson Valley Resort and Spa in upstate New York. He is a certified aging specialist professional, having passed the certification at Texas University. He maintains his certification through continuing education.


Irene Malanga, Director of Life Enrichment

Irene is a certified activities director. She has been in this industry for 23 years, getting her start with Marriott Senior Living Services.


Kelley Whitt, Director of Human Resources

Kelley Whitt brings more than 26 years of human resources experience to her new role at Devonshire and Chatsworth. She earned her bachelor of science in business administration from Central Michigan University and is P.H.R. and S.H.R.M.-C.P. certified. Kelley is passionate about investing in and building high-performing, respectful, and caring teams.


Jim Tallman, Director of Dining 

Jim has enjoyed a rewarding career in food and beverage hospitality, working at Marriott Hotels' signature properties as director of restaurants, including the San Diego Marriott Marquis and the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk. Before joining the Devonshire team, Jim spent six years with Tommy Bahama Restaurants. He enjoys sharing his passion for food, wine, and special events with Devonshire's ambitious and eager culinary staff and the community members they serve.
