Meet the Eagle’s Trace Leadership Team

Get to know the executive team that governs our community.

Steve Aigner, Executive Director

Steve Aigner is currently serving as the executive director at Eagle's Trace, having joined the community in 2014 as the associate executive director. Previously, he has served at several other Erickson Living communities, including Greenspring in Springfield, Virginia, and Ashby Ponds in Ashburn, Virginia. Prior to joining Erickson Living, Steve was an assistant general manager and restaurant manager in the Washington, D.C., area. He received a B.A. from George Mason University and holds numerous restaurant industry certifications.

Michael Friedel, Associate Executive Director

Michael Friedel joined Eagle's Trace in October 2014 and was promoted to associate executive director in 2017. He began his Erickson Living career in 2011 at Oak Crest, our community in Baltimore, Maryland, where he first served as assisted living manager and was later promoted to director of continuing care. Prior to Oak Crest, Michael served as a nursing home administrator in Pennsylvania and as executive director of an assisted living facility in Delaware. He is currently licensed as a nursing home administrator in Texas, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. 

Shirley Glueck, Finance Director

Shirley joined Eagle’s Trace as finance director in September 2006. Shirley’s financial experience includes two years as the finance director for a nonprofit agency overseeing federal and state grant funds to medical agencies serving people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS and over 16 years as a vice president for a savings bank located in Houston, Texas. Shirley received a bachelor of business administration in accounting from the University of Houston and is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas.

Pamela Burgeson, Director of Sales and Marketing

Joining Eagle’s Trace in June 2005, Pamela brings 20 years’ experience in both operations and sales leadership to the Eagle’s Trace team. Her background includes lodging, investment, and senior services. She worked 12 years specifically in the senior living industry. Pamela has provided regional sales development and supervision as well as successful community start-up and sales training. She has been recognized with top sales awards by Merrill Lynch, Marriott Senior Living Services, Sunrise Senior Living, and in 2006 received the Sales Leadership Award from Erickson Living. Pamela received her bachelor of arts from Baylor University of Texas.

Vickie Antoine, Director of Human Resources

Vickie joined Eagle’s Trace in May 2007 upon returning to her Texas roots after residing and working in Michigan for over 15 years with Grand Rapids Controls Inc. and Kendall College of Art and Design. Human resources management has been Vickie’s calling with over 20 years of related experience. Her passion within the field lies in the organizational and employee-development areas. Vickie has served in several positions on various boards. Vickie’s experience crosses various industries including health care, manufacturing, and post secondary education. Vickie is currently pursuing her master's degree in human resources management.

Brian Tremaine, M.D., Medical Director

Dr. Tremaine joined the Erickson Health Medical Group in November 2011. He brings to Eagle’s Trace over 12 years of internal medicine and geriatric experience. Dr. Tremaine’s most recent tenure was as diabetes clinical physician with Diabetes America in Sugar Land, Texas. Dr. Tremaine received his medical training at the University of California, San Diego. He completed his internal residency and geriatric fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Mark Batterson, General Services Director

Mark joined Eagle’s Trace in June 2006 as security manager and was promoted to assistant general services director in 2011, assuming responsibility for general services. Mark began his operations management career with Fox Television Stations, Inc., where he served as the security and operations manager at the local affiliate, KRIV. Mark also worked closely with corporate operations at Fox to implement security systems for new facilities in Houston, Texas, and Denver, Colorado. Mark received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is board-certified as a security protection professional.

Latasha Jones, Nursing Home Administrator

Latasha joined Eagle's Trace in May 2015 as the assisted living and memory care manager and was promoted to nursing home administrator in 2017. A seasoned health care professional, Latasha held positions as a director of social services and assistant executive director before beginning her career at our community. She received her bachelor of social work degree from Texas Woman's University and her master of social work degree from Texas A&M University. Latasha is a licensed social worker and nursing home administrator.
