Meet the Eagle’s Trace Leadership Team

Get to know the executive team that governs our community.

Steve Aigner, Executive Director

Steve Aigner joined the Eagle's Trace team in 2014. Prior to coming to Eagle's Trace, he was the associate executive director for Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Living-managed community in Ashburn, Virginia. There, he was jointly responsible for all facets of management for the community that serves as home to over 800 residents. Stephen also served as regional dining services director for Erickson Living. Stephen earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Western Governors University. 

Michael Friedel, Associate Executive Director

Michael Friedel joined Eagle's Trace in October 2014 as the director of continuing care. Priort to coming to Eagle's Trace, he was the director of continuing care/nursing home administrator at Oak Crest, an Erickson Living-managed community in Baltimore, Maryland. Previously, Michael served as a nursing home administrator in Pennsylvania and as executive director of an assisted living facility in Delaware. Michael earned his bachelor's degree in business healthcare management from Western Governors University and is licensed as a nursing home administrator in Texas and Maryland.

Joshua Chang, Finance Director

Joshua joined Eagle's Trace as finance director in January 2018. He holds more than 20 years of experience in the information technology and services sectors. Prior to joining Eagle's Trace, Joshua served as the finance leader for Hewlett Packard in its U.S. Federal Civilian segment with clients that included NASA, HUD, and the U.S. Postal Service. Previously, he was a consulting manager for worldwide firms such as Arthur Andersen and KPMG. Joshua holds a bachelor's degree in risk management & insurance as well as a master's degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Joshua is a certified public accountant (CPA) and project management professional (PMP).

Pamela Burgeson, Director of Sales and Marketing

Joining Eagle’s Trace in June 2005, Pamela brings 20 years of experience in both operations and sales leadership to the Eagle’s Trace team. Her background includes lodging, investment, and senior services. She worked 12 years specifically in the senior living industry. Pamela has provided regional sales development and supervision as well as successful community start-up and sales training. She has been recognized with top sales awards by Merrill Lynch, Marriott Senior Living Services, Sunrise Senior Living, and in 2006 received the Sales Leadership Award from Erickson Living. Pamela received her bachelor of arts from Baylor University of Texas.

Vickie Antoine, Director of Human Resources

Vickie joined Eagle’s Trace in May 2007 upon returning to her Texas roots after residing and working in Michigan for over 15 years with Grand Rapids Controls Inc. and Kendall College of Art and Design. She has over 20 years of related human resources experience and is passionate for organizational and employee development. Vickie's experience has crossed various industries including health care, manufacturing, and post-secondary education and she has served on several boards. 

Brian Tremaine, M.D., Medical Director

Dr. Tremaine joined the Eagle's Trace and the Erickson Health Medical Group in November 2011. He has over 20 years of internal medicine and geriatric experience. Prior to Eagle's Trace, he was a diabetes clinical physician with Diabetes America in Sugar Land, Texas. Dr. Tremaine received his medical training at the University of California, San Diego. He completed his internal medicine residency and geriatric fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and also taught faculty at Baylor College of Medicine.

Michael McKissak, General Services Director

Michael joined the Eagle's Trace team as a director of general services in 2017. Prior to coming to Eagle's Trace, Michael built his career on accepting international assignments with the U.S. Departent of Defense and U.S. State Department, providing logistical support for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He brings more than 20 years of successful program and operations management, including construction, maintenance, accommodations, dining and security, both domestically and abroad. 

Michael Heilman, Dining Services Director

Michael joined the Eagle's Trace team as dining services director in 2020. Priort to coming to Eagle's Trace, he was area director at The Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille, where he oversaw daily operations of 13 corporate restaurants. Michael earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Towson University. 

Kristin Malejan, Resident Life Director

Kristin joined the Eagle's Trace team in 2012. Prior to coming to Eagle's Trace, she was the director of resident and family services at Silverado Senior Living, where she serves as an advocate for residents coping with memory impairment. Kristin earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Texas Christian University and her master's degree in social work from the University of Houston. 

Latasha Jones, Nursing Home Administrator

Latasha joined Eagle's Trace as assisted living manager in May 2014 and was later promoted to assistant administrator in July 2016. In March 2017, she was promoted to director of continuing care overseeing Bayou Vista operations. Previous to Eagle's Trace, she served as an assistant executive director and a director of social services in Dallas. Latasha holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Women's University and a master's degree in social work from Texas A&M Commerce. 

Jenna Pascall, Director of Nursing

Jenna joined Eagle's Trace Bayou Vista as the MDS coordinator in 2012. Prior to coming to Eagle's Trace, she was a staff nurse focused in geriatrics and MDS coordinator at Manor Care in Illinois. Jenna earned a bachelor's degree at Northern Illinois University and a bachelor's degree in nursing at Texas Tech University.  

Lakiesha Piper, Medical Practice Administrator

Lakeisha joined the community as medical practice administrator in March 2018. Prior to working at Eagle's Trace, Lakeisha was a senior medical practice manager at Baylor College of Medicine and a practice manager at University of Texas Health Science Center.
