Just Walkin': Eagle's Trace Sets the Pace for Walking Challenge

HOUSTON, TX---In the name of good health and wellness, they wore down the tread on their tennis shoes and the batteries in their pedometers. Over 126 residents of Eagle's Trace retirement community, along with employees, family and friends, walked over 27,125 miles in September.  This combined effort earned the campus a first place finish for the Mileage Award in the Erickson Living Walking Challenge. HOUSTON, TX--- Thanks to their affiliation with the Houston-area chapter of Project C.U.R.E., residents and employees of Eagle's Trace retirement community recently put new and gently-used medical supplies to good use. Project C.U.R.E. is the registered trademark of the Benevolent Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, humanitarian relief organization that collects medical supplies and equipment and donates the items to developing countries.
