Eagle’s Trace Celebrates Its Volunteers

Houston, Texas— Volunteer Appreciation Month is dedicated to saying “thank you” to millions of caring people across the nation. On Friday, April 15, Eagle’s Trace gave a tip of the cap to its resident volunteers.

More than 130 residents of the Erickson Living retirement community were the guests of honor at a luncheon, enjoying delicious food and a special wellness activity presented by Lainie Diamond of Houston Laughter Yoga.

Eighty of these volunteers contributed more than 100 hours of service in 2015 and received a certificate of appreciation, according to Kristen Kennedy, Resident Services Coordinator. In total,...

Houston, Texas— From mutton bustin’ to steer wrestling, there was something for each one of the two million attendees of the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show to enjoy this year.

Houston, Texas— Michael Friedel, the Director of Continuing Care for Eagle’s Trace retirement community, received the 2015 Erickson Living Leadership Award.

The recognition is given to a manager or director with Erickson Living who continually demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities and inspires, motivates and empowers his or her team members to commit to excellence in serving residents.
