Eagle's Trace Appoints Shekoh Moossavi as Director of Dining Services

HOUSTON, TX---Eagle's Trace, the Erickson Living retirement community in West Houston, announced the hiring of Shekoh Moossavi as Director of Dining Services.
Ms. Moossavi brings sixteen years of worldwide culinary experience to Eagle's Trace.  Previously, she served as a Chef and Instructor at Culinary Institute LeNotre in Houston. 
Additionally, Ms. Moossavi was the Executive Chef & President at Shokolaat, LLC in Palo Alto, California, Senior Vice President at Pastry Smart, LLC in San Mateo, California and Executive Chef & Owner at Gervais Restaurant in Saratoga, California.
"With her accomplished history in the culinary industry, the residents and employees of Eagle's Trace will be well-served by Shekoh's vision and leadership," stated Ben Cornthwaite, Executive Director.  "We pride ourselves on resident satisfaction, and serving a variety of delicious and healthy meals is an important part of that commitment."
As Director of Dining Services at Eagle's Trace, Ms. Moossavi will oversee the operation of two on-campus restaurants featuring a variety of dining experiences from formal to casual.  The Dining Services Department also includes the catering event team and carry-out & delivery service for residents. 
Additionally, she will lead dining operations at the continuing care neighborhood at Eagle's Trace.  Offering assisted living, memory care, post-acute rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation services, the neighborhood features person-centered dining choices.
A resident of Houston, Ms. Moossavi attended the Florida Culinary Institute in Palm Beach, FL, Valrhona in Tain I'Hermitage, France and Ecole Chocolat (Professional School of Chocolate Arts) in Canada.  She is a member of the Houston Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier.
