Houston, Texas—Giving back is a consistent theme for residents and staff of Eagle's Trace, the Erickson Living retirement community.
They did it again on Friday, September 16, raising more than $8,000 for the Alzheimer's Association during the community's annual Walk to End Alzheimer's.
The event was more than just a stroll around the 70-acre campus in West Houston. Led by Shirley Woods, Fitness Manager, residents partook in a pre-walk stretching exercise to prepare, incorporating wellness tips they learned at the fitness center. And they donned their purple Alzheimer's Association t-shirts in a show of solidarity for the cause.
