Eagle’s Trace Residents Support Wreaths Across America In Houston

Houston, Texas—The generous residents of Eagle’s Trace retirement community came through again in a big way.

They contributed $1,670 to donate to the Houston Chapter of Wreaths Across America to help fulfill its goal of placing a wreath on all 60,000+ grave sites at the Houston National Cemetery in December.

Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and thanking veterans for their service and sacrifice.  Its mission is to “Remember, Honor, and Teach.”

The contribution by Eagle’s Trace translates into 167 wreaths for the project.  The effort, sponsored by the resident-led Community Outreach Committee, took place November 7-11.  Residents who served in the military staffed the tables during the fundraising drive.
