Houston Retirement Costs and Pricing

How Much Does it Cost to Live at Eagle’s Trace?

If you’re living on a retirement income, costs can add up quickly—especially here in the Houston area. Eagle’s Trace offers a smart financial setup to help you manage your expenses and safeguard your future.

Eagle’s Trace has Two Basic Costs:

  1. 90% Refundable Entrance Deposit*
You’ll secure your independent living apartment home with a one-time 90% Refundable Entrance Deposit. Should you wish to move, 90% of your deposit will be returned to you. Should you spend the rest of your life here, 90% will go to your beneficiaries.

  2. Monthly Service Package
One check each month covers nearly all of your daily expenses, such as heating, air-conditioning, property taxes, and a flexible meal plan you can use at The Garden Room or Eagle’s Roost Café. The cost of the Monthly Service Package remains predictable all year long.

Eagle's Trace Financial Facts

What sets Eagle’s Trace apart from other senior living communities in Houston? As you explore your other retirement options, consider these facts:

  • Steady growth
We’ve experienced consistent growth since opening in 2005. Currently, Eagle’s Trace includes four residential buildings, a 55,000-square-foot clubhouse, and an on-site continuing care neighborhood.

  • Not-for-profit community
Eagle's Trace is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and an affiliate of National Senior Campuses, Inc. (NSC). The focus of the boards of NSC and its affiliated communities is on pursuing their not-for-profit missions and on the people who call the NSC communities home.

  • Home for Life Commitment
Eagle’s Trace maintains a Benevolent Care Fund to assist eligible residents who outlive their resources. No one has ever been asked to leave Eagle’s Trace because of a genuine inability to pay.

  • The fee-for-service benefit
As a fee-for-service community, we don’t make you pay upfront for health care services that you may never need. Unlike a Life Care model, we only charge for a higher level of care when and if it’s needed—an approach that could save you and your family thousands of dollars every year that you remain independent.

  • Financial strength
Eagle’s Trace is a community managed by Erickson Living, a national leader in the retirement living industry since 1983. Currently, Erickson Living manages 19 communities in 11 states.
