Fox Run's Adopted Grandparents Program is an Ageless Rewarding Experience

NOVI, MI (January 26, 2017) – Each time Helen Weingarden talks about Fox Run retirement community’s year-round Adopted Grandparents program, her face lights up. “If you love children, this is a rewarding experience,” she says. The program brings together volunteer grandmas and grandpas from Fox Run with 4th graders from Franklin Road Christian School next door. The groups take turns hosting one another for monthly activities that vary.

Allison Murphy is Appointed Sales Director of Fox Run

NOVI, MI (January 26, 2017) – Erickson Living has named Allison Murphy the Sales Director of Fox Run retirement community. Murphy is no stranger to Fox Run and Erickson Living as she was an integral part of the sales start-up team at Fox Run back in 2001.

She went on to work as a Sales Manager, Sales Counselor, and Sales Director and helped with training and development at Erickson Living communities in Illinois, Colorado, Texas, and Massachusetts.

For the past few years she has worked for Trinity Health Senior Communities as a Regional Director of Sales.


Fox Run Residents Study Beethoven, Brahms and Appalachian Bluegrass

NOVI, MI (January 3, 2017) -- Among the dozens of interesting resident-run clubs at Fox Run, one of the most popular is the Music Study group. George Smith and Dan Braude started the club in 2011. The group of like-minded music lovers gets together once a month to explore a different composer, genre, or musical trend.

The members of the group range from talented musicians, including a former concert pianist, to people who don’t play a note but simply enjoy music.
