Geri hosts a show on Fox Run’s in-house TV channel called Out and About , in which she creates segments that give in-depth glimpses into life at Fox Run.

NOVI, MI (December 11, 2014) – Fox Run resident Arnetta Whitehouse, a writer, first got involved with the Unity in the Community group when she joined her neighbors to put pins noting their countries of ancestry on a large world map in the retirement community’s clubhouse. She proudly placed her pin on Germany.

Marilyn Schueneman Puts Her Theology Degree to Good Use at Fox Run Retirement Community in Novi, MI

NOVI, MI (January 6, 2014) -- For Marilyn Schueneman, retirement has hardly been a time for slowing down. After ending a long career in education and government, at the age of 64, Marilyn decided to fulfill one of her lifelong passions by earning a master’s degree in theology. As a preacher’s daughter, Marilyn had long been interested in religion.

“I just thought, I love to read and study this stuff, so I am going to go to seminary,” Marilyn recalls of her bold decision to return to school later in life.


Tia Maria is "One Hot Dog" at Fox Run

NOVI, MI (October 7, 2014) -- Tia Maria is the "One Hot Dog" winner of Fox Run retirement community's Strut Your Mutt dog show.

She is a 10-year-old Dautshund who has been with her owner, Eva Barnes, ever since she was a six-month-old puppy. Tia Maria is said to be "a friendly and loving dog."

Tia Maria was one of 25 dogs -- Maltase, Poodles and Terriers included -- who participated in the dog show held September 27 on Fox Run's campus in Novi.  The dogs are pets of Fox Run residents and staff.

Construction of Fox Run's New 94-Apartment Residence Building Underway

NOVI, MI (September 8, 2014) - Construction of a new, 94-apartment home residence building at Fox Run retirement community in Novi, MI,  is now underway with 64 percent of the building already being reserved.

"The time is right for growth in the form of a new residence building because our occupancy is nearly full and the list of people wanting to move to Fox Run has grown over 35 percent within the last two years," Assistant Executive Director Fred Moschetta said.

Fox Run Precinct Has Highest Voter Turnout in Oakland County, MI

NOVI, MI (July 22, 2014) -- The Fox Run retirement community voting precinct in Novi, MI,  has the largest voter turnout of any precinct in Oakland County. Residents are proud of this distinction and are looking forward to voting in the upcoming August 5 Primary and November 4 General elections. The Fox Run precinct marked a record 87 percent voter turnout in the November 2012 election. The precinct, which is designated Precinct #10 by the Novi City Clerk's Office, has a total of 919 registered voters. Six voting booths are brought into the precinct on election days.
