Fox Run Residents Raise $450,000 to Help Their Student Scholars Attend College

NOVI, MI (June 5, 2017) – Forty-Five student employees this week were honored by Fox Run retirement community residents who raised $450,000 for this year’s Scholarship Program to assist them attend college.

 

To be eligible for a scholarship, the students employed in the Dining Services Department must work a minimum of 1,000 hours during the two years prior to receiving the scholarship, build positive relationships with residents and maintain a strong work record while employed at Fox Run. Each student will receive $1,250  a semester for a total of eight semesters.

 

Since its inception in may 2004 the Fox Run Scholars Program has raised more than $1.6 million dollars assisting 298 students to advance their collegiate careers.
