Greenspring resident Dr. Lloyd Lehn repairs cuckoo clocks in his apartment workshop

(Springfield, Va.) — Dr. Lloyd Lehn officially retired 12 years ago, but you wouldn’t know it. Today you can likely find him in his own personally designed and constructed workshop, the Cuckoo Clock Hospital, as he calls it. He has been fixing cuckoo clocks for 20 years: oiling; cleaning; replacing/adjusting movements and music boxes; and making a variety of other adjustments.

(Springfield, Va.) – On Wednesday, May 27, Greenspring will host family, friends, residents, staff, and local school officials at the annual Scholars Awards Ceremony. George Washington High School Alumni Gather at Greenspring to Celebrate the Class of 1945

(Springfield, Va.) – On Wednesday, April 29th, nearly 50 alumni from George Washington (GW) High School gathered at Greenspring retirement community in Springfield, Va. to celebrate the 70 th anniversary of the class of 1945. GW’s 1944-1950 Reunion Committee hosted the event, which welcomed alumni spanning more than 20 years in graduation dates from the class of 1941 through the class of 1962. (Springfield, Va.)—Greenspring recently announced that Fitch Ratings raised its revenue bonds rating to “A+” on the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority bonds, series 2006 A, issued for the Springfield, Va.-based Erickson Living retirement community.
