A Seamless Transition: The Goal of Greenspring's Personal Moving Consultant

August 28, 2012

Greenspring's personal moving consultant, Anna Greves, has more than 25 years of experience working as a broker in the real estate market in Virginia.  While spending one-on-one time with future residents who are planning a move to the community, Anna aims to take the stress and worry out of the transition.
"It's my goal to shorten the period of time it takes to move to Greenspring, once the decision has been made to do so," said Anna.
Anna, who joined Greenspring in 2008, is available to assist future residents with all aspects of the moving and selling process through the Erickson Realty and Moving Services (ERMS) program.  Anna travels to individual homes both in-state and out-of-state to assess future residents' specific needs and to help customize a plan for their approaching move.  These plans include assisting with downsizing, clean-out and packing plans, home staging, and suggesting preferred realtors and handpicked moving companies.   Approximately 90% of future residents choose to use one or more of the services offered by Anna and the realty and moving services program.
"One of the most valuable aspects of the program is the availability of real estate professionals who go beyond the typical expectations of sellers," said Anna.
Since January 2012, Anna has worked closely with preferred real estate agents in listing 70 homes and has helped to sell over $27 million in real estate.  Homes in Northern Virginia listed by preferred real estate agents have spent an average of just 16 days on the market, providing relief for future residents who are concerned about selling their home quickly and for the right price.
