If something happens to me and I no longer can live independently...there’s a place right across the campus where I can go for whatever needs that I have.
Which Living Option Is Right for You?
When considering Northern Virginia continuing care retirement communities, you’ll need to first determine what living option best suits your needs. Whether you would benefit from a higher level of care in our continuing care neighborhood or you’re able to live independently, Greenspring can more than accommodate your wants and needs.
Greenspring residents often admit that they are more active at our community than they were before. A wealth of amenities, services, and clubs make it easy to fill up your schedule with exciting things to do. Plus, maintenance-free living allows you plenty of free time to take water aerobics at the all-season pool, build a birdhouse at the woodshop, or discuss the latest book club selection—and so much more.
The doctors and specialists at our on-site medical center work diligently to know you personally as a patient and help keep you independent for as long as possible. Should you need assistance while living in your apartment home, you can arrange for in-home care through certified home health or a licensed private duty aide.
If the need for a higher level of care ever arises, you have priority access to our continuing care neighborhood.
Our continuing care options are among the most comprehensive in Northern Virginia. In addition to top-quality doctors, nurses, and caregivers, Greenspring is proud to provide peace of mind to Springfield seniors looking for assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, long-term nursing care, or respite care.
Each continuing care neighborhood is designed with your best possible physical, emotional, and mental health in mind. No matter what level of care best suits your needs, you’ll enjoy private accommodations, chef-prepared meals, and access to all the amenities and activities on Greenspring’s campus.
While independent living residents have priority access to the continuing care neighborhood, you do not have to be a current Greenspring resident to receive care here.
