Highland Springs Names Varun Kakar as Dining Services Director

Dallas, Texas— Highland Springs announced the appointment of Varun Kakar as Director of Dining Services.

Mr. Kakar brings ten years of experience with Erickson Living , the developer and manager of Highland Springs. He spent seven years at Fox Run, a sister community in Novi, Michigan, where he began his dining career on the wait staff before earning a promotion to Assistant General Manager. He then worked for two years at Maris Grove, an Erickson Living community in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, as General Manager.

Dallas, Texas— Dr. Mary Norman, M.D., Medical Director, and Dr. Jill Studley, M.D., Staff Physician, both of Highland Springs , were among the “Best Doctors” as announced by D Magazine in its 2019 rankings .

The two full-time physicians of the Erickson Living senior living community have been recognized as either a Best Doctor or Best Doctor in Collin County by D Magazine every year since 2011.

Dallas, Texas— When it comes to helping others, the residents of Highland Springs never hesitate to roll up their sleeves to support a worthy cause.

The Erickson Living retirement community in North Dallas announced plans for Lakeview Pointe, a new independent living building currently under construction at its 89-acre campus.

Dallas, Texas— As a six-year old boy in France, Patrick Becquet did not have to look far for culinary inspiration.
