Highland Springs Appoints Dr. Patti Dickson as Social Worker

DALLAS, TX---Highland Springs, the Erickson Living retirement community, announced the appointment of Patti Dickson, Ph.D. as a new Social Worker. Most recently, Dr. Dickson worked with the Maurice Barnett Geriatric Wellness Center in Collin County.  Dr. Dickson is a Californian who moved to Texas nine years ago.  She was a Social Work Manager for an Adult Day Care program in Long Beach, California and a Preceptor at California State University Long Beach School of Social Work.  Upon arriving in Texas, Dr. Dickson became the Manager of Education for the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Dallas where she was active both locally...

Continuing Care Neighborhood at Highland Springs Earns 5-Star Rating from Federal Agency

DALLAS, TX---The Continuing Care Neighborhood at Highland Springs retirement community attained the maximum score in three signature categories of the Five-Star Quality Rating System administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). DALLAS, TX---Santa really does have a workshop in Texas!  Three resident teams of Highland Springs, the Erickson Living retirement community in North Dallas, collaborate annually to provide hand-made toy cradle sets and fire trucks to the Hobby Crafters Foundation and the NETWORK of Community Industries, Inc. for distribution to children and families in need in the Dallas area.
