Highland Springs Named Best Retirement Community, Assisted Living by Star Local Media Readers

DALLAS, TX---Highland Springs, the Erickson Living retirement community in North Dallas, was named Best Retirement Community (55+) and Best Assisted Living in the Star Local Media 2013 Readers' Choice Awards.
According to Star Local Media, over 197,000 votes were cast in a variety of categories during December via an on-line ballot that appeared on www.starlocalmedia.com.  In November, readers had the opportunity to nominate their favorite local businesses for the balloting.
In a special section appearing in the January 26th edition of the Plano Star Courier, Star Local Media announced the winners.  The publication stated that "we feel this is a great list of local businesses whose common theme in their success is focusing on you, their customer."
Matt Neville is the Executive Director of Highland Springs.  "This is a tremendous honor for the residents and employees of Highland Springs, and I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the voting," stated Mr. Neville.

The eighty-nine acre campus is located on 8000 Frankford Road.  In its independent living neighborhoods, Highland Springs currently features 437 apartment homes with a variety of one & two bedroom floor plans and pricing options.
