Hingham, MA – Lloyd Lillie is a well-known sculptor and teacher of art who now lives at Linden Ponds in Hingham.

His work, including life size sculptures of John Quincy Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Former Mayor James Michael Curley, and many others can be found in locations such as the Boston Public Library, two American embassies, and in many Colleges and Universities.

This month, Linden Ponds has chosen Lillie as Artist of the Month and his work will be on display for residents only.

Linden Ponds Celebrates National Senior Health & Fitness Day®

Hingham, MA --- Linden Ponds will join an estimated 1,000 local groups to celebrate the 21st Annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day (NSHFD) today, May 28th, 2014.  Linden Ponds held a group walk every day consisting of 1.2 miles to finish the month long 26.2 walking marathon event today.  The walking marathon began on April 22.  Residents and staff who participated were encouraged to commit to walking one mile each day.  Today, the final group will walk around the Linden Ponds campus, begins at 1:00 pm. 30 Students to Receive Linden Ponds Student Scholarship

 Hingham, MA -- Thirty students working at Linden Ponds will participate in the annual Student Scholarship Week, May 3-10, to raise money for the Linden Ponds Student Scholarship Fund. The Linden Ponds Scholarship Fund is for student employees who plan to attend a college or accredited trade school beginning fall 2014. The students need to have worked at Linden Ponds during their junior and senior year and put in 1000 hours of work. Those students will receive a total of $5,000 over four years of college.
