25 South Shore Students to Receive Scholarships Hingham, MA -- More than $100,000 was raised for the Linden Ponds Scholarship Fund.  This year there are 25 students eligible for a Scholarship. The Linden Ponds Scholarship Fund is for student employees who plan to attend a college or accredited trade school beginning fall 2011.  The students need to have worked at Linden Ponds during their junior and senior year and put in 1000 hours of work.  Those students will receive a total of $4,000 over four years of college.  The money will be dispersed directly to their schools in $500-per-semester increments,...

Hingham, MA -- Linden Ponds Residents Gus Diezemann and Ed Petcavage both won six Gold Medals while participating in the 30th Annual Quincy Senior Olympic Games held in May. Linden Ponds World War II Veteran Flies Helicopter for First Time in his Life

Hingham, MA - Russell Jalbert, who lives at Linden Ponds in Hingham, had flown 18 kinds of aircraft by the time his military career ended in 1945.  But there was one aircraft he had not flown and has always wanted to; a helicopter.   At age 93 he has finally accomplished that dream.
