Centola Brings Proven Leadership and Passion for Excellence in
Senior Housing Management, Operations, and Health-Care
HINGHAM, MASS., — Jim Centola has been named the new executive director of Linden Ponds, a continuing care retirement community in Hingham, Massachusetts. He will assume this leadership role February 1, 2016, replacing Jim Wingardner, who was recently named the new executive director of Devonshire at PGA National, an Erickson Living retirement community in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
"Centola's career history reflects more than 15 years of experience and superior customer service in senior housing and health-care services," said vice president of regional operations, Chris Emmett. "His proven leadership has resulted in the finest quality lifestyle for residents and a supportive workplace for staff."
Centola joined Linden Ponds in 2001 as administrator for continuing care, and served most recently as the community's associate executive director. His diverse management and health-care expertise also includes experiences gained while serving as director of operations with Quality Rehabilitation Services, director of rehabilitation services and vice-president of Health Services, as well as administrator with Masonic Health System, and physical therapist for Physical Therapy Plus.

Centola received his bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University in Boston in 1987, and a master of business administration degree from Assumption College in Worcester in 2013.
