BALTIMORE, Md.–October 23, 2020–Erickson Living, a national leader in developing and managing continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and National Senior Campuses, Inc., (NSC), the largest nonprofit continuing care retirement community system in the United States, today announced a joint venture to develop and manage new CCRCs across the United States.
"We value our longstanding relationship with NSC and the shared commitment we have to providing the highest standard of programs and services to seniors," said R. Alan Butler, chief executive officer of Erickson Living. "Erickson Living's nationally recognized development and management expertise, along with NSC's deep nonprofit CCRC experience, provides an ideal framework for future company growth and success."
"As the nation's 65-and-older population is increasingly exploring retirement living options, NSC values the opportunity to further expand our relationship with Erickson Living," said Michelle Bohreer, NSC chairperson. "Our mutual commitment to helping people live better lives provides the perfect platform for serving the future needs of seniors."
Under the terms of the agreement, all new communities will be developed and managed by Erickson Living. NSC will provide oversight to ensure these communities are operated in a manner that furthers NSC's nonprofit mission to serve seniors.
